Marion Landing Patrol has been in existence since the late 90’s. It was formed to help protect our community. It is actively supported by the MCSO; they supply the vehicle, gas and take care of all repairs that are needed on the vehicle. Our community provides uniform shirts and equipment that is needed. We patrol our Marion Landing community. We are the extended eyes of the Marion County Sheriff’s department. The familiar flashing light helps to prevent crime in the community.

We meet once a month on the 2nd Tuesday in the Lifestyle Center immediately following the regular Social.  Our Patrol Executive Committee meets on the last Tuesday of the month after the Social in the Lifestyle Center.

Search is a sub group of Patrol, it was formed to provide assistance to the Sheriff’s Department in the event of a person going missing in the community and to help provide contact information for the residents that may be involved in some sort of an emergency. You must be a member of Patrol to become part of the Search Team.

We are always looking for new members to help protect the community. If anyone is interested in joining Patrol just contact any officer listed above and they would be more than happy to assist you. All the numbers are listed in the Marion Landing phone book.
